About This Project
The Broxson family in Lovelady wanted to replace their 40+ year old swim pier. When we were asked if we could tear down the old one and build a new one in less than 3 1/2 weeks – especially knowing the scale of this one (it’s 150 feet long with a 20′ x 12′ L-Head, and an upstairs 14′ x 16′ diving deck) the request was a bit of a worry at first. Not the time scale overall, but the weather we were having at this time of 2024. Through several heavy thunderstorms, wind storms, and finally a good week – we were successful. No pressure….. The family had a big party planned for the 4th of July weekend – an annual celebration they have had for generations. We finished the afternoon of July 2nd~!
